Position Available – Director of Catering - Radisson Paper Valley Hotel

This exciting position opportunity involves overseeing all aspects of the catering initiative for the highly recognized Radisson Paper Valley Hotel, located in Appleton, WI.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing, coordinating, and promoting catering operations within the hotel as well as off site. The successful candidate will work with the hotel's sales department and clients to plan and execute group, corporate, and social events; and carry out responsibilities in a manner which will result in the highest quality of food, beverage, and service, in order to maximize the sales and profitability of the hotel's banquet and catering operations.

This highly motivated manager will be required to develop and maintain effective communications and working relationships interdepartmentally, as well as with prospective hotel clients and guests.

The Director of Catering must possess excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills; proven organizational, leadership and some administrative skills; and a good working knowledge of food and beverage, as provided by having at least three years of experience in a catering/banquet  environment

or

any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Special consideration will be given to individuals with post secondary education such as a bachelor's degree in hotel and restaurant management.

This individual must be computer literate with a basic knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets and must maintain at all times the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and attitude toward all hotel guests, staff members and associates
